Our Full Water Immersion Process
Our system uses THE MOST THOROUGH METHODS OF DRY SOIL REMOVAL which means that damaging (insoluble) sand and grit is shaken and blown out with compressed air prior to the wash process. DON’T BE FOOLED BY UNINFORMED FLY BY NIGHT RUG CLEANERS! ( We get the rugs that have been damaged by other cleaners sent to us for color repair and other repairs). You are welcome to drop off your rugs and save 15% as long as they are not over 8’ x 10’. Larger rugs will be picked up and delivered to you free of charge. and we will unload them for you if you call ahead.
Our rug cleaning system includes up to eighteen steps, and all of our rugs are cleaned by our expert wash team under the supervision of our Master Textile Cleaner, Dan Traub. Most Turkish, Persian and other wool rugs are washed in our full-immersion cold water hand-wash system. We also offer “dry” cleaning for delicate rugs such as Navajo. We are expert in identifying the fibers and selecting the best cleaning process.
Our company has many certifications- including the designation of MASTER TEXTILE CLEANER certified by IICRC “Clean Trust,” and Woolsafe USA. This is extremely important—it means you can rest assured that your rugs are always cleaned only by well-trained staff closely supervised by world-class experts. We have been in the rug, carpet, upholstery and flooring care industry since 1988.
Tabriz, Iran, where people carry Persian rugs down to a stream
and wash them with soap and brushes.
The full-immersion method uses cold water and natural “soap,” and goes back to the time of Moses! Our “laminar waterflow” bath system is used by prominent rug washing facilities around the world, and simulates this perfectly! THAT ALSO MEANS WE DO NOT WASH OUR RUGS IN A DIRTY “PIT” – ALWAYS IN FRESH CLEAN WATER.
Cleaning your rugs in our plant allows us to give them special attention and treatment for a more thorough cleaning, controlled drying, and the use of various tools and processes that are not available on location in your home or office.
